The Media Access Project (MAP – www.mediaaccess.org) cordially invites you to participate in the final event in our ground breaking series of conferences bringing together public policy experts and tech industry leaders to draft policy recommendations for the next President of the United States. In the final forum, prominent Presidential candidate representatives will discuss technology policy issues facing the next President. These issues will be based on conclusions drawn from MAP’s previous two fora held in Silicon Valley, “The Future of Content & Control” and “Open Access and the New Net Neutrality.”

Live Debate on Network Neutrality

Live Debate on Network Neutrality

MAP Senior Vice President Harold Feld will participate in a live debate on VON TV regarding Network Neutrality. According to Feld, the event will feature “civil but very intense, passionate debate.” Free Press General Counsel Marvin Ammori will join Feld in a debate against Ken Ferree, President of the Progress and Freedom Foundation, and Lawrence J. Spiwak, President of the Phoenix Center.

FCC Commissioner Michael J. Copps will be making introductory remarks, and Marty Stern, Legal Commentator for VON TV, will moderate.

Mark your calendar for this free debate, which begins at 2 PM EST on Tuesday, March 11, on VON TV.

The debate is the first in a series hosted by VON TV focusing on Broadband Industry Practices.
